Como Friends members and donors are invited to join us from 9:00 am–10:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, for this Special Access Event for Como Friends Supporters.
Pinnipeds are mammals that have flippers—and you’ll flip for Como’s flippered friends! Get to know Como’s harbor seals, gray seals, and California sea lions with a Blaze Sparky Show just for Como Friends supporters.
Then hear about Neil and Nan, Como’s elder polar bears, and their young companion, Kulu with a lively Polar Bear Program.
Visit Como’s expert educators and dedicated volunteers to learn about polar bears and pinnipeds. And stop by the Aquatic Animals Building to see the amazing updates that are taking place thanks to your contributions to Como Friends.
